The Story Behind 'Seasons of Hope'
OK firstly...
Let's face it, life has its seasons of difficulty, like the past few years for example.
We've all been through some rough stuff right.
But you know what? During those times, I find my joy in art!
On the days when it seemed the world was going crazy, I'd get in my studio, turn up my favourite music, pull out my favourite colours and just PAINT!
Using acrylics, pencils, charcoal and just a hint of gold leaf, with paintbrush in hand I danced my way to creating these joyful paintings.
My inspiration was music and the beautiful tropical colours of the coral reefs and rainforests of Queensland where I live.
The result? ...'SEASONS OF HOPE'...
These uplifting and joyful abstracts will add a pop of 'colour spice' to any room.
Secondly....
I love creating art and I want to share it with as many people as I can and make it more accessible. Let's face it not everyone can afford an original painting.

About Olivia
I was fortunate enough to acquire one of Olivia's pieces that spoke to me personally. In it, I saw my own struggles and triumphs, and it continues to inspire me years later each time I see it.

Olivia Alexander is a contemporary artist who was born in London but grew up in Australia.
It was there she found a passion for the rugged coastal landscapes and oceans that are now her artistic focus.
After nine years of art training, Olivia chose to specialize in mixed media. She has worked as a professional artist for over two decades.
Exhibiting extensively, Olivia has received nine international art awards in recognition of her work which are owned by private collectors in many countries including Bronze and d'Etain medals from the Society of Arts, Sciences and Letters, Paris.
She will be awarded a *diplôme médaille de argent*(silver medal) from the Société Académique of ART SCIENCE & LETTRES - Paris, 16 October 2022 in recognition of her art career.
Since 2003, she has exhibited or been represented by galleries and curators in cities such as Paris, New York, Chicago, Rome, Bologna, Sydney, Kolkata and Singapore, to name a few.
Olivia works from her Gold Coast studio in Queensland, Australia. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
