As I get to the end of another week, I’m aware of how fast life is flying by. I wish that somehow I could ‘press pause’ and just stop in the moment, put it in a bottle to keep and hold onto.
As an artist, I guess I have the ability to do just that at my very finger tips, or rather, brush tips.
I can capture a moment and put it on canvas forever.
The colour of the ocean. The vast, open horizon. Clouds scudding across the sky, as if a great master had applied them with a brush.
I’m writing this sitting on a rock at Windang Island watching two paddle boarders catching and riding the waves. The sun is shining, a soft breeze teases my hair and as far as I can see, there is hardly a cloud in the sky.
Time to just ‘Be still. Recharge. Refresh’. Enjoy the moment and take in the beauty all around me.
Stop, breathe...breathe again!
Sometimes we just need to do that…. Press pause II.
