About the event
As the ocean swirls and eddies into the tidal pools, the sun glistens upon the surface. Like shafts of gold dancing upon the waters, the gilded sea is swathed in colours of turquoise, aquamarine blues and deep greens.
A selection of 18 new paintings capturing the spirit of the oceans and coastal landscapes of Australia.
Featuring multi-layered mixed media techniques with highlights of gold leaf, reminiscent of the Japanese artform, Kintsugi.
