As I walk beside the sea, watching the rhythmic movement of the waves, I feel mesmerized and sensed a deep connection with the ocean's dance.

 

The colours changed from deep turquoise to emerald green, and the sunlight reflected through the water, reminding me of the vibrant reef beneath the surface. In that moment, the idea for my new art collection was born.

 

I chose mixed media—inks, watercolours, pencil, and acrylics—to capture the textures and effects I envisioned. Each layer and stroke a tribute to the ocean's beauty.

 

The ocean is my muse, a passion rooted in my love for the sea and its marine world. The need to conserve and protect it for us and our children. This and our beautiful coastal areas drive my artistic passion.

 

When I'm beside the ocean, I feel peace and the stresses of everyday life just seem to drift away. Instead, I am flooded with a sense that everything will be ok. Looking out to the horizon, I am reminded to be still and let that tranquility fill me. As a spiritual person, I see a creative hand, greater than mine, in the ocean's beauty.

 

Through my art, I want viewers to feel as if they are walking beside the ocean. I hope they imagine the sand between their toes, the sound of the waves, and sense the peace and positive emotions that I try to evoke.

 

This collection is partly a call to cherish and protect the marine world but also to find solace in nature's wonders. I want viewers to resonate with the serenity of the ocean, to see themselves in the art, and to carry that peace within them.
